| Surfactants (SURFace ACTive AgeNT) play an important role in many practical applications and products, including Detergents, Emulsifiers, Paints, Adhesives, Inks, Alveoli, Wetting, Foaming, Defoaming, Laxatives and Agrochemical Formulations. This database contains 1,020 spectra of surfactants. It has been compiled by Professor Dieter Hummel, University of Cologne in co-operation with Chemical Concepts. . All spectra are high quality FT-IR spectra at a resolution of 2 cm-1. In addition to the spectrum, the following information is available: Chemical or technical names, Sample description, Source, Measurement technique.
